About Me

Hi, my name is Joseph. I was born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska and I’m currently a student attending the University of Nevada, Reno. I wanted to go to college in order to build a solid and stable future for myself and to open myself up to more career opportunities, I am currently majoring in business and I’m specifically interested in learning about finance and economics.  Over the summer, while I’m out of school, I work as a mover at Alaska Terminals Inc. While working here I’ve learned important life skills including, working with a team, communication, and how to manage my time well.

Two of my strongest skills are problem solving, time management, and organization. I find joy in learning new things and challenging myself in the process. Specifically if I know it will help me grow within my profession or simply as a person.

In the future I would like to immerse myself into the financial industry. I want a career where I can use my skills to help others while making money.

Outside of school and work I enjoy the outdoors. Whether it be snowboarding, hiking, camping, or just simply hanging out outside my house on my lawn. I grew up playing soccer and have a love for watching sports and being active. I also enjoy traveling, listening to music,  and hanging out with friends in my free time.

Some of my long term goals are to graduate with my bachelors, find a stable job where I can at some point obtain financial freedom and be free to travel the world with my family. I am extremely motivated to keep on improving myself and build the life that I dream of.
